Of Mt. Ephraim Kathleen Feaster (nee Kenney), of Mt. Ephraim, 70 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and close friends on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was known as a wonderful homemaker, retired receptionist of Beth’s Boutique and loving mother to Lisa (Thomas) Doughten and Richard. She was a gentle soul who was loved and respected by all who knew her. Daughter of the late William and Mary Kenney and the late niece Mary Byrnes. Joan was born April 4, 1931 and was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Leopold. Joan was the loving wife of 62 years to the late Leroy A. Jackson and loving mother of Leroy A. (Edie) Jackson III, Robert (Jane) Jackson, Suzie (Bill) Green, Trish Jackson, Gary (Donna) Jackson, Tim (Liz) Jackson, Nancy Murphy, Raymond (Karen) Jackson and Sharon (Lou) Underwood. She was the cherished grandmother of Keith, Kevin, Amy, Scott, Tricia, Chrissy, Billy, Lori, Lindsay, Ryan, Michael, Sean, Matt, Kirsten, Lauren, Melissa, Raymond, Steven, Luke, Josh, Maddy and Harry and cherished great-grandmother of Connor, Kylie, Chelsea, William, Sienna, Savannah, Brody, Nicholas, Sophia, Cole, Samantha and Emma. Joan was a graduate of Collingswood High School’s class of 1948 and graduated from Cooper Hospital School of Nursing as a RN. Joan loved all the times she spent at the summer shore house in Sea Isle City with her family. She especially enjoyed celebrating High Tea with her daughters, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren. Joan cherished attending the theater and listening to her favorite show tunes. She always looked forward to her trips to the Mall, shopping at Boscov’s and the Christmas Tree Shop. She was very fond of the friends she made while living at the Woodbury Mews. Above all, Joan adored her husband, Leroy, and cherished the countless hours she spent making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. These memories will now be theirs to hold forever in their hearts. Weber, Mary K., (nee Williams) 
Age 87
of Alexandria, VA, , died on February 14, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Weber. Loving mother of Walter (Angela) Weber of Alexandria, Virginia, Louise (Douglas) Kahl of Munroe Falls, Ohio, and Neil (Christina) Weber of Galena, Ohio, and devoted grandmother of nine grandchildren: Juliana, Constance, Peter, and Andrew Weber; Seth Kahl; and Sophia, Xavier, Elijah, and Luke Weber. Preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters, she is survived by her sister Patricia Mergenthal Lanzilotta and many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Gloucester City, New Jersey on November 16, 1929. She was the ninth of twelve children born to Theresa Sagorc Williams and Henry J. Williams II. Mary attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and Gloucester Catholic High School (then St. Mary’s High School), both in Gloucester City, N.J. She graduated as valedictorian of the high school class of 1947. She went on to take classes at the Steelman Business School in Camden while caring for her then invalid mother. Mary was employed for nine years from 1948 to 1957 in the quality control department at RCA Service Company, first in Gloucester City and later in Cherry Hill. She left work upon her marriage to Joseph G. Weber on October 5, 1957. Mary dedicated herself to her family. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Throughout fifty-two years of marriage, she was a loving wife, and she provided constant care to her husband at home during his fatal battle with cancer. After his death in 2010, she became an active member of the organizations To Live Again and the Leisure Club at Christ Our Light Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. In 2016, Mary moved to Alexandria, VA to live with her eldest son and his family. As her health declined, she moved to the Paul Spring Retirement Community and then to Spring Hills Mt. Vernon Assisted Living facility. Mary will be remembered as a good and loving woman by all who knew her. Michael was born in Red Bank Boro and was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary and was a graduate of Stockton University in Galloway Township where he earned his Bachelor Degree. He was inducted in 1971 into the Gloucester City Lions Club by William Dilks and was an active member for 46 years to the present day. Gene was Treasurer for the Club for many years. He was a longtime member of Gloucester City Seniors Citizens Association. Ethel Mae Convery
Age 81
of West Deptford. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017. (nee Stanton). Ethel was a longtime resident of both National Park and West Deptford. Ethel graduated from Woodbury H.S. in 1952. After H.S. she worked for a short time. However, she thought her most important work would be raising her six children with her H.S. sweetheart John A. Convery. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church and would fondly recall her trip to Ireland with the parish, friend Msgr. Curran and close family. She cherished her long time club nicknamed “Little Tiny Hines” and their meetings to date once a month. Ethel was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Favorite times were down on the Jersey Shore beach and campground. She will be dearly missed, yet her memory and legacy are carried on by those who loved her. Ethel was predeceased by her parents Helen Cattell Stanton and Walter Stanton; her loving husband John A. Convery; her daughter Joanne Gorman and brother Walter Stanton (Mary Jane). She leaves behind her brother, George (Gail) Stanton; her children, John (Julie), Maria (Jim), Thomas (Christine), Susan, Helen (Bert); grandchildren, Kelly, Lucy and Colleen Convery, Sean, Keith and Rachel Gorman, Colleen and Jessica Dougherty, Joelle Fritz, Alexandria Parks, Helen Ekimoglou, Tyler and Evan Witcraft and 15 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and longtime caregiver Maggie Kain.
