Every liturgical ministry serves the parish community that has gathered for worship and among them are our ushers. Ushers assist in seating people in the church, taking up the collection, and generally seeing that  good order is maintained before and during the liturgy. They are an integral part of our hospitality and in the forming of memorable impressions, especially of our first time visitors. This task of hospitality is more than being sociable, but rather they are the embodiment of Jesus who welcomes us into his house of worship.
